Arriving at night, I walked out to eat at a street-side restaurant opposite the bus station, tasted Dien Bien liquor and local food. There is also a video. Opposite the night market, take a local minibus like this to Luang Namtha Bus Station. 2015 20 55 39.155 N, 101 24 15.743 E GPS coordinates (POI). Stop to exchange money and have a meal at Muang Mai before reaching Dien Bien Phu. The hotel I stayed at the first night is in an alley next to Dien Bien Phu Bus Station.
